PMCR 2024

Máme za sebou první soutěžní den. Starty ráno začaly v 11:00, ve 12:20 byli všichni ve vzduchu a nebýt mokrého letiště, tak bychom starty zvládli pod hodinu. Takže cíl pro zítra je jasný. 🙂

Dneska měly všechny třídy AAT disciplínu na 3 hodiny a podle slov soutěžících to nebylo vůbec jednoduché. Nejčastější komentář na zemi byl, “jsem rád, že jsem doma.” I přesto ale naprostá většina soutěžících trať obletět zvládla a díky tomu máme hned první den 1000ci bodovou disciplínu.

The first competition day is over. First launch today was at 11:00 and by 12:20 all gliders were in the air. If it weren’t for the wet runway, the complete launch procedure would have been under one hour. At least we have something to aim for tomorrow. 🙂

Today all classes had AAT for 3 hours taking them to the west and then north in Germany and back home again. And according to the competitors themselves, it was not an easy task today. Nonetheless, almost all pilots have managed to complete the task and thanks to that we begin the competition with a 1000 points discipline.

Soutěžící je možné sledovat za letu pomocí trackingu. Pro PMČR jsem pro vás připravili dvě verze trackingu:

Onglide – Tento tracking živě vyhodnucuje let, takže kromě polohy soutěžích je vidět i jejich průměrná rychlost na trati.

Glide and Seek – Klasický tracking s podkladem soutěžní tratě. Na trackingu se zobrazují všichni soutěžicí, ale vybraná třída je vždycky barevně zvýrazněna.

We have prepared two version of tracking that you can use to follow the competitors.

Onglide – Tracking with live “scoring” during the flight. Beyond just showing the position of the pilots, it also shows the average task speed.

Glide and Seek – Classic tracking software, but with filtered competition traffic, highlighting of classes and task overlay.

Po včerejším neoficiálním tréninkovém dni, kdy letělo asi 10 soutěžících, je dneska na programu oficiální tréninink. Pro všechny třídy je stejná AAT trať na tři hodiny. Večer v 20:00 je povinný zahajovací briefing a od zítra se závodí.

After about 10 pilots flying yesterday, today is the official training day. All classes have the same AAT task for 3 hours. In the evening at 20:00 a mandatory introudctory and safety briefing will take place.

V sekci Dokumenty nově naleznete dva důležité dokumenty: 1) Selfbriefing v1.1, který nahrazuje předešlou verzi a 2) seznam povolených frekvencí a instrukce k jejich používání. Prosíme všechny závodníky o jejich důkladné prostudování.

In the Documents section you can newly find two important files: 1) Selfbriefing v1.1, which replaces the previous version and 2) list of all air-to-air frequencies and instruction for use. We kindly ask all competitors to study these thoroughly.

Jedním z partnerů letošního PMČR je digitální platforma SmirakOnline.cz pro evidenci letového provozu. Tato aplikace umožňuje výrazně zjednodušit a zefektivnit evidenci letů, odstranit lidskou chybovost a vytvořit přehledný záznam nejen pro provozovatele, ale i pro piloty. Všichni piloti PMČR tak budou mít k dispozici přehled všech svých tréninkových i závodních letů. Zároveň doporučujeme prozkoumat možnosti nasazení digitálního Šmíráku i ve vašem aeroklubu – nově je totiž tato platforma nabízena i komerčně.

One of the partners of this year’s CGC is the digital platform SmirakOnline.cz/en for efficient airfield traffic recording. This application greatly simplifies and streamlines flight logging, eliminates human error and creates a clear record not only for airfield operators but also for pilots. All CGC pilots will have an overview of all their training and competition flights. At the same time, we encourage you to explore the possibility to deploy the platform in your aeroclub – as this platform is now also available commercially.

Dear pilots and flying enthusiasts,

We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming Czech Gliding Championship that will be taking place in Toužim between the 9th and 21st June, 2024. Registration for pilots is now open and will close on March 31st.

The event is open to pilots from all countries and will be fully bilingual. It is an excellent opportunity to get to experience flying in the Czech Republic, especially before the European Gliding Championships that will be taking place in Tábor this year and the World and Women’s World Gliding Championships that will be taking place here in the Czech Republic in 2025.
